¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï proudly participated in the Asia Pacific Digestive Week (APDW) 2024 Bali Endoscopy Simulation Training Consensus, collaborating with leading GI organizations to advance endoscopy education. Invited by program co-leads Roy Soetikno, MD, M¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï, and Tanya Kaltenbach, MD, M¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï, ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï showcased its dedication to innovative educational models, particularly simulation-based mastery learning (SBML), as a transformative educational approach to developing training future endoscopy and other gastroenterology procedural skills.
Ed Dellert highlighted ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï’s initial integration efforts of SBML principles through its Skill, Training, Assessment and Reinforcement (STAR) program, led by Chris Chapman, MD, and Jennifer Maranki, MD, F¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï. This initiative reflects ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï’s commitment and educational leadership in refining training methodologies and implementing actionable strategies to drive progress in gastroenterology and endoscopy education.
